Itinerary

Embark on the only whale-watching cruise to depart from The Pass beach in Byron Bay, offering the fastest route to the path of migrating humpback whales, plus dolphins, turtles, and sea birds. Travel with a small group of no more than 12 on a vessel specially designed for marine life spotting, equipped with underwater viewing devices and a hydrophone to listen to whale songs. Whale sighting is guaranteed—if you don’t see one, take another cruise for free!

    The level of communication leading up to our cruise was top notch, the staff are genuine in wanting a feel good experience for all. On the day they went that little bit extra to make sure we had every opportunity to experience these wonderfully majestic creatures...and we did! A great team and effort, highly recommended to all!

    We had a great time. The tour was well organised and everything went to plan. More importantly, we saw plenty of whales. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and made sure we were looked after throughout.

    The captain and all the crew were brilliant. They knew everything about the sea life in Byron etc. we were blessed to see so many whales putting on an amazing show for us. It was breathtaking A big heart full thank you to all the team at the Byron Bay Dive Centre😊👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

    Just went whale watching with my 3 children. Superb experience. Very well organised, no messing around waiting for boat etc. Everything was ready and organised. Skippers very nice and helpful. We had a wonderful time.

    The crew at Byron Bay Dive Centre know what they're doing! I originally scheduled a tour for 28/06, but the weather was crappy. The shop sent a text to update me and provide me with the option to reschedule or refund. They made rescheduling easy and I went on tour the next day. My partner and I were not disappointed! We saw nearly 50 breaches, fin waves, and tail slapping. The cherry on top was our punny as hell skipper with, my personal favorite, "he's a son of breacher man that one!" We may have gotten lucky with the whales, but service like that is a real treat. The crew was knowledgable, easy going, and fun. If I was in town longer I would have definitely booked a snorkeling tour. Don't miss whale watching with this team! Also, do yourself a favor and leave your phones behind. The skipper will take WAY better photos than your iPhone and you can fully enjoy the experience. All the pictures they take are only A$29.95 (USD$20). Trust me, it's worth it.

    We went on the early morning tour and had the most amazing experience. We were all excited when we saw whales at around 100 metres, then a whale decided to put on a show for us. He came up to the boat and for around 10 to 15 minutes went all around us doing rolls, showing us how magnificent these mammals are. Nicco and Ben made us feel comfortable and safe and I highly recommend this to anyone who wants the opportunity to have an experience of a lifetime.

    We had the most wonderful day out with Captain Nico and First Mate Naomi! There were SOOO many Whales showing off their beautiful acrobatics. Our guides were very knowledgeable, passionate and fun! We can’t wait to do it again!!

    Really pissed off with the lack of contact service with this company. They had my phone # and could have called & left a message or texted me but they didn't. My booking was for a 1pm Whale Watching tour and they changed it and said I could do 10.30am instead and booked me for same day when I wanted the next day as wasn't in the area. Now they are fully booked and I can go. Wonder if they will give me a refund cause I've already paid? I'm not holding my breath. If they don't I will write a really bad report on FB and Instagram and boost it so everyone can see it. These guys are really unprofessional not impressed at all.
